Shoes get knicked

Some plucky burgalars in Kuala Lumpur evaded a group of security guards and their dogs to achieve unauthorised entry into the former Finance Minister Tun Daim Zainuddin.
It appears that during the robbery the thieves stole three pairs of Daim's shoes; even despite the heavy security.
The break in was reported by the security guards on Sunday night; and is believed to have taken place between 8pm and midnight. A shoe rack located in the security compound noticed the three pairs of mens shoes were missing, and then lodged a report at the local police station.
Reports have stated that the compound was not equiped with closed circuit cameras and that the former minister was away overseas at the time of the burglary.
